The story
Behind SAGA are Emil and Oliver. It all started in November 2025, in the living room of Emil’s small apartment on Østerbro, where we developed the first test batches of what would become Saga Black Tea & Lemon.
We were inspired by the exciting range of alternatives to beer we had seen in New York, and felt that the best parts of beer and drinking culture here in Denmark were missing an expansion. So we decided to create it ourselves. By April 2026, we had our first canned prototypes: Black tea and lemon.
Today, we sell to shops, restaurants, and businesses, and there is much more to come. More flavors and an alcohol-free version are already in the works.
The saga has only just begun.
